The latest things I've worked on.

Now I've put my tablet aside and I'm working more on pencils for a while (:

Hard work!

Finally I'm compensating the time lost in the past months.

I was viewing my art folders from jan. 2012... when I first started with the Crimson Daggers community. God, at that time I managed to stay awake till 5am painting! Then slowly my fire was dminishing...

I want to get that back. Seeing the studies I did back then... all lost in time. I didn't applied! Anything!

So now I'm on a new schedule to do studies and specially APPLY them right away! It was so this week, and it has paid off. I won't post the studies here because they are copies of photos/artwork and may be protected by copyright.

These are 2 aplications of the studies: woman and armor. The two were made with no ref.

And also this anatomy/pose studies.

Ok. May and June were weird months... my folder from these months are almost empty.

Argh, I won't try to draw and paint anymore. I WILL. Focus. Improvement. Studies, practice!!

Okay. May has been a strange month for me... my production rate dropped to almost zero... trying to remedy that.

This one was my final piece for the #15 bloodsports: Guild of Golems.

Some studies I did for the Bloodsports #14 - a challenge from the Crimson Daggers community.

And here are my finals. The brief for the challenge was to do 2 card art - one normal and one advanced - where the normal one should be an armored person with the hability to shapeshift into an animal.

 And here's a "speedpainting" that took longer than expected. Trying to add more colors while also leaving the brushstrokes.. kinda hard to do. I'm more and more convinced that I have to stray away from the hiper realistic style that I wanted all my life. As I watch those kind of paintings, sometimes, it gives me a strange feeling.. don't know it yet.
