Hey! :)

After spending a week in my hometown 'cause I had to remove my wisdom teeths, and just sketching some crap in my sketchbooks, I returned to my college town and spent the days doing digital painting again <3

So, I had this idea that came from nowhere of a girl with wolves. And I slowly began to do it, until this point (yes, it's unfinished and it will stay that way):

I was rendering - or at least trying to - the wolves, and realized: what. the. f. was. that. I do not know how to draw a wolf. Never did one.

So I did some studies :) Took me all day, but I'm happy with the results. I learned a lot. And I also have to thanks Fer (http://fdasuarez.deviantart.com/) for the insight about the fur!

And now I'm doing the image I wanted before, haha. Still gonna take me some time tough. And I also have other illustration in mind :) wooo happy week.

AND, I've been very insecure about my college lately. I mean, I know what I want for myself. However, that's not what anyone can teach me here. I'm slowly starting to believe I have to travel far. And my toughts, for the moment, are hovering around California... :) However, the financial problem is, well, still a problem, duh. So, my own self-study will have to do for now!

And finally I'm done :)

Here's some Wips, cause I was having a hard time figuring out his expression:

This is the real size of it:

And this is the final illustration:

I learnt a lot with this one :) And I'm pretty satisfied with it, altrough I know that it's a long way to the top if you want to be an artist, haha.

Not much to say, but that I have a new piece in mind. I did a few sketches, and I think it will take a little bit longer than usual :)

After nearly two months in my hometown, I'm back to my college city, with my tablet, my deskboard and my monitor :)

In my 'vacations' my mom asked me to paint some beach landscapes, as she wants to hang a print on our house walls. I was without my tablet back then, but now I did some sketches with ArtRage (which I found very nice to use!)

And this morning I used some nib pen with ink to practice more direct lines, as I'm used to do a lot of scratches with the regular pencil. I'll also try to do some of with it the Ink from ArtRage.

It's good to be back :)

Well, I'm in my hometown now, which means no digital art because I didnt bring my tablet with me. I'm just doing some studies by pencils, and thus, it's the only thing I can show.

These are some faces I did based on photos from a compilation that my friend Alex Negrea shared some time ago.

Well, as Diablo 3 addiction slowly fades away ('cause I'm still playing), I'm studying and painting again.

This is my recent study:

It's a photo study from http://lockstock.deviantart.com/.

And, for the past three days I've been working on this piece, and now I can call it finished:

I know that there are a lot of things to study and become better, but with this one I realized that all the effort you put into something, pays off sometime. This piece boosted my motivation. As Noah Bradley said on his Facebook page, "Don't worry so much. It's probably going to take 5-10 years before you start to really learn how to paint and make a career out of this."
